HDH Cure is an acrylic polymer consisting of 50% solids. Acrylic polymer is an indispensable ingredient for making GFRC concrete. HDH Cure retains water in the concrete. This allows the project to be stripped after just 24 to 48 hours. After stripping, the strength continues to develop because HDH Cure retains the water.
Furthermore, HDH Cure acts as an anti-foaming agent and improves the distribution of pigments in the mix.
It also reduces concrete shrinkage and increases strength. Suitable for use with both white and gray Portland cements. Consult our concrete calculator for the ideal mix formula.
Dosage
The recommended polymer content is 2%–7% polymer solids relative to the weight of dry cement.
example
This polymer is 50% solid, so 25 kilograms of cement would require 0.5 kilograms to 1.75 kilograms of polymer. This is 1 liter to 3.5 liters of HDH cure.
