Basalt fiber 6 - 19mm

Basalt fibers are made from liquid basalt (rock). This makes it a green and sustainable way of reinforcing concrete. In addition to these advantages, basalt fiber has many other properties:

• Resistant to very high temperatures: 800 to 1000 degrees Celsius. This makes this fiber very suitable for making fire pits and BBQ tables.
• High tensile strength
• Corrosion resistant
• Good distribution through the concrete mix
• Alkaline resistant

Dosage: 
Add 1% - 3% AR glass fibers to the total weight of the mix.
